Born and raised in Italy, Cecilia’s academic and professional background is articulate and diverse. Through her BA in Philosophy she developed her critical thinking and analytic eye, while with her Diploma in Art History she further pursued her interest for the visual arts and more specifically for the contemporary practices and aesthetics.

She developed her artistic skills working on several creative projects and started her own company in 2017 offering product design, prop-making, and custom and production sewing services to her clients.

Pursuing her MFA in Theatre, Design and Production, Cecilia is focusing on scenic design with the goal of bringing her practice to a variety of venues (theatre, opera, film, television, live concerts, art galleries) to explore how the notion of storytelling interacts with different spaces.​
